So we often asked the girls to join in cleaning the house or the yard. Very seldom actually because no-one have time after long day working and going to school.
Aqila loves cleaning and arranging. But one thing she can't deal with: bugs. She has to go slow on them. Well, cleaning the yard comes with everything in it, like bugs.

Being a small 'philosophic' girl, Aqila who was just bitten by red ant asked me a question in betweeh her whines:
Aqila: " Amie...aargh, my foot is itchy.. the ant bit me!!"
Me: "Well, baby, it's okay. Just put vicks rub and you'll be fine."

Aqila: "Geez, I don't understand God. Why God created ants if only to bite people's foot???!!"

Me: "Well,... okay, let's ask Abach why... :)"

Let me take you down to paddy field :)

harvest time, harvest time,
all the farmers are smiling during harvest time,
it was fun, it was fun,
hanging around at paddy field in harvest time.

just Aqila, and all her 1/4 halfs,
Amie, Abach, baby Dzar and ka Dasha,
to spend our days,
stepping on the dry hays.

all the paddy are dancing,
beautiful gold color, they are swingging,
a magical carpet created by God,
for us to see, for us to enjoy.

what a fun day it was :)

World cup fever really got us all in the mood. Since Aqila also enjoy the video clip of World cup theme song, and all the other cousins and Ka Dasha, plus Abach and ammu's.. and myself who was limping walking with an 8 months baby in my womb, also had the craze
for 2010 World Cup.. so..

First Day @ school

The first day at school is always exciting. Our number 2 daughter, Aqila, was as brave as little warrior!!! She got up early in the morning, showered and immediately put on her uniform.

Aqila, our darling strawberry-fairy... be a good student okay.. and respect your teachers. Have fun with all your friends but be sure to be discipline.

Remember... never get tired of learning something new! Ilmu adalah warisan yang PALING BERHARGA! :)

Aqila went to Bunaya School for a year... and just before the end of the academic year, all the students were asked to perform.

Ibu Olvi ang Ibu Hikmah taught them the hawaiian holahop dance... with no twist though...

Outbond with friends

School today has got a lot of activities, even for the kindergarten kids. Good! Bunaya decided to go outing with families. All kids are having fun at out-bond in Sibolangit, which is an hour from Medan. Amie was too worry about Aqila riding bus with her friends. Not for the riding bus with friends part, but because a lot of bus drivers (or any public vehicle drivers) are not responsible in Medan.
Thus Amie and Abach followed our bus slowly. Ka Dasha had to cut school to accompany us. Amie with her big tummy... :)

After having Dasha about 4 years ago, the time for Aqila was a lot calmer. Again, Prof. Yusuf Hanafiah was a BIG help. I trusted him a lot as he is very expert and very calming for, again, a mom to be. Born at 12.15 that day, without anyone inside. Abach was not allowed to go in by the old-generation nurse and basically all I had was (at least in my head) remembering Allah... how hurt it was still for the prophet when he died.. so who am I to complain... and gosh, wished for the 'dangdut' song at Abdillah mayoral campaign to just be turned off.

The power went off for a couple of second. The opening was not balance and next bed another mom to be was already been there on and off for three consecutive days!! I had to be thankful enough.

Three push, just like Dasha's time, then Aqila was with us.

That bright smile of Dasha when she found out she has a baby sister. Ready chirping in our ears.. yes, your big sister Aqila, about how she wanted to have big role in taking care of you. She did! She kept her word... and she helped us taking care of you.

Aqila, don't think about how hard life is, but think about how fun it is and how you are very lucky to have people around you who LOVE you SO MUCH! Having you is another blessing for Abach, Amie and Ka Dasha. It was like our life was re-born. My prayer is for you to be sholeha girl, remember Allah always, and be a good in your school, with family, and others.
